| Ello [= Sorry about the complications last night!! Credit: optimism_iskeyxx Request: Moving on quotes!!
1477. Sometimes the cards we are dealt are not always fair. However you must keep smiling and move on.
1478. To be able to move on, one has to learn to forgive not only the person (or people) who have done one wrong but also oneself.
1479. Life is about making the right decisions and moving on.
1480. Forgiveness and letting go are steps on our road back to happiness.
1481. You are responsible for your life. You can't keep blaming somebody else for your dysfunction. Life is really about moving on.
1482. Take a second out to think about this: in your life you search and search for the right person for you. Every time you break up with someone you get one step closer to that person. You should look at moving on as getting closer to meeting the one.
1483. Courage is not the absence of fear, but simply moving on with dignity despite that fear.
1484. Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.
1485. Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit.
1486. Don't dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer.
1487. Letting go doesn't mean giving up... it means moving on. It is one of the hardest things a person can do. Starting at birth, we grasp on to anything we can get our hands on, and hold on as if we will cease to exist when we let go. We feel that letting go is giving up, quitting, and that as we all know is cowardly. But as we grow older we are forced to change our way of thinking. We are forced to realize that letting go means accepting things that cannot be. It means maturing and moving on, no matter how hard you have to fight yourself to do so.
1488. Any change, any loss, does not make us victims. Others can shake you, surprise you, disappoint you, but they can't prevent you from acting, from taking the situation you're presented with and moving on. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your situation, you can always do something. You always have a choice and the choice can be power.
1489. Life is a game that we never stop playing. Keep moving on to every new game. Remember the sun will go down in a day and the moon will rise on up in its place.
1490. It is only through labor and painful effort, by grim energy and resolute courage, that we move on to better things.
1491. Letting go isn't a one time thing, its something you have to work at everyday, for the rest of your life.
1492. <-- I love that song <3 Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak. Sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go.
1493. Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.
1494. The turning point in the process of growing up is when you discover the core of strength within you that survives all hurt.
1495. Old times never come back and I suppose it's just as well. What comes back is a new morning every day in the year, and that's better.
1496. When one door closes another door opens. But we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.
1497. f you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree.
1498. Some of us think holding on makes us strong; but sometimes it is letting go.
1499. <-- Sorry I thought it was hilarious :P Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of the past, and is therefore the means for correcting our misperceptions.
1500. To live in this world, you must be able to do three things: To love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go.
1501. Every breath is an opportunity to receive and let go. I receive love and I let go of pain.
1502. We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
Alright I have to cut this update short because people are starting to come over!! Sorry guys!!!

| Hello [= Credit: yourfavoritepicture I found most of the christmas photos but some also came from yourfavoritepicture.
1428. Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop figuring out precisely how we feel, stop deciding exactly what we want, and just see what happens.
1429. I live for the summers where my toes don't go a day without touching the sand. The weeks that are spent under the sun & the moon with good friends. I live for the days when my cheeks hurt too much from smiling. I live for the hours that I feel alive. The minutes that make up my favorite song. The seconds that make up that one first summer kiss. I live for the moments that take my breath away.
1430. Love comes to those who: still hope though they've been disappointed. Who still believe though they've been betrayed. Who still need though they've been hurt before and have the courage and faith to build trust again.
1431. At the end of the day, faith is a funny thing. It turns up when you don't really expect it. It's like one day you realize that the fairy tale may be slightly different than you dreamed. The castle, well, it may not be a castle, and it's not so important, happy ever after, just that it's happy right now. See once in a while, once in a blue moon, people will surprise you, and once in a while people may even take your breath away.
1432. She’s not like every other girl. She doesn’t give a shit what she looks like and to her make-up is a waste of time. She will eat like a pig and not care if they make fun of her. She’ll be a dork and she’ll act stupid. And if you haven’t noticed, she probably has the best friends around. And it’s not because she a stupid fake teenage girl, its because she’s herself.
1433. She's sixteen years old. She's not perfect; never has been. Probably never will be. She's emotional and she doesn't think about things before she says them. She'll say some things that will make you want to strangle her. She'll probably hurt you and make more mistakes than you can imagine. She doesn't mean to, but she probably will. However, she'll apologize. She's still learning about everything, even if she thinks she already knows it. She's been hurt; sometimes she feels so alone she can't stand it. Other times she's so happy she can't belive it. She's just trying to figure out this twisted time in her life when everything gets real complicated real fast and everything seems to spin out of control before she ever begins to understand what's going on. But she loves, laughs, and does her best and that's all you can ever ask of her.
1434. The tension is here. Between who you are and who you could be, and between how it is and how it should be.
1435. Cherish yesterday. Dream tomorrow. Live today.
1436. When bad things happen in life, you just have to accept the fact that it happened and move on. Don't look back on the past. Don't regret something if you learned from it because mistakes make you stronger.
1437. So now, alone or not, you've got a walk ahead. Thing to remember is if we're all alone, then we're all together in that too. --PS. I love you
1438. Take chances, make mistakes. That's how you grow. Pain nourishes your courage. You have to fail in order to practice being brave. --Mary Tyler Moore
1439. Maybe it's best to stop figuring out where you're going, and just enjoy where you're at.
1440. Don't attach yourself to anyone who shows you the least bit of attention because you're lonely. Loneliness is the human condition where no one is ever going to fill that space. The best you can do is know yourself and know what you want.
1441. <-- I took that from his myspace :X I've been addicted to them lately lol So you failed. You want to be really great? Have the courage to fail big and stick around. Make them wonder why you're still smiling.
1442. To accomplish great things, we must not only act but also dream. Not only plan but also believe.
1443. Life is like a roller-coaster. Too many unexpected turns, but by the end, you want to ride it again.
1444. No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.
1445. I don't believe in the word regret. I believe in the phrase, "You fucked up and now you learn from it."
1446. No one can whistle a symphony. It takes a whole orchestra to play it. --H.E. Luccock
1447. To live in this world you must be able to do three things: To love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go. --Mary Oliver
1448. Why do we all like these quotes? What makes you want to save them or print them out? It makes us realize we're not alone. What we feel this other person feels. There are other people out there, you just have to look. --Me [=
1449. I stand outside catching the glint of the fading sun in my eyes. Thinking maybe the biting chill in the air will clear my mind. But it doesn't. I watch the leaves scatter as a swift breeze comes by. My fingers are cold and I think about the things that I've held and the things that I've let go. I shove them in my pockets and watch the sun sink lower over the trees. I stare up to the sky watching the stars come out from hiding. The moon is glowing brightly overhead already. I watch the cars pass on the highway. I listen to the sounds of a soft sad song drifting on the breeze. This is home.
1450. It's taken me awhile, but I'm learning that letting go of the past is a good thing. It doesn't mean forgetting, it just means moving on. You can't enjoy the present when you're stuck in the past.
1451. It's not about what happened in the past, or what you think might happen in the future. It's about the ride, for Christ's sake. There is no point in going through all this crap, if you are not going to enjoy the ride. And you know what... when you least expect, something great might come along. Something better then you even planned for.
1452. Sometimes there are no next times, and no time outs or second chances. Sometimes its now or never.
1453. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon.
1454. Laugh your heart out, and dance in the rain. Cherish the moment, and ignore the pain. Live, laugh, love; forgive and forget. Life's too short to be living with regrets.
1455. You have three choices in life. Give up, give in, or give it your all.
1456. If you're going to fall, just do it. Don't stumble or trip, just fall.
1457. Weakness is not being able to admit you're wrong. Weakness is giving in when times are hard. But just because you get weak, doesn't mean you can't get strong. So keep moving on.
1458. Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. Dreams are forever. --Walt Disney
1459. When it comes down to life, you risk nothing or everything. That's just how it is.
1460. Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones. And when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. --Victor Hugo
1461. Everything will be okay. You're beautiful, and it's far more than skin deep. Let it shine.
1462. Don't worry about your reputation. Worry about your character. Your reputation is what people think you are but your character is what you are.
1463. "You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don't make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can't take their eyes off you." --Maya Angelou
1464. Someday everything will all make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at confusion, smile through the tears, and keep reminding yourself that everything happends for a reason.
1465. If you think sunshine is happiness, then obviously you have never danced in the rain.
1466. When we were little, life worked perfectly. No matter what happened, everything turned out alright in the end. Scraped knees, canceled play dates, and dropped ice cream cones. We would cry for a short time, but by the end of the day, everything would be perfect. And now as we've grown older, we've lost the faith as we stumble through each day, crying over broken hearts, lost friendships, and lost dreams. It seems like life and perfection have turned their backs on us, but really its just that we've grown up. As kids we didn't pay attention to such details about our daily lives, but now we are more aware, and little details seem to be amplifying our pain. But just remember that when we were younger, life was hard too, but we had faith in perfection because we could look past faults. So don't lose your faith. Learn to know that each day will pass, each heartache will be mended, and everything will be perfect in the end. Just keep your faith.
1467. At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy, that's how we're made. So, you can waste your life drawing lines, or you can live your life crossing them. --Grey's Anatomy
1468. Just be yourself because no one can ever tell you that you're doing it wrong.
1469. As you go through life you'll see there is so much that we dont understand and the only thing we know, is things dont always go the way we planned.
1470. Sometimes things happen in our lives that tear us apart inside, but if we don’t learn to look past them and see the sun shining above the clouds, we will forever be standing in the rain.
1471. You can run from the disappointments you're trying to hide, but it's only when you embrace your past that you truly move forward.
1472. If your roads always seem downhill, you're probably holding the map upside down.
1473. "If you end up with a boring, miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest, or some guy on television telling you how to do your shit, then you deserve it." --Frank Zappa
1474. You deserve to be with somebody who makes you happy. Somebody who doesn't complicate your life and somebody who won't hurt you.
1475. When you grow up, falling in love becomes more about finding someone whose strengths match your weaknesses. Who you can spend Sunday evenings with, and who you don't mind lying next to every night.
1476. Just remember, when you should grab something, grab it. When you should let go, let go.

| Hello [= Credit: staythistime except for the dog pictures. That was a request and I found the pictures.
1392. There comes a time when every life goes off course. In this desperate moment you must choose your direction. Will you fight to stay on the path while others tell you who you are? Or will you label yourself? Will you be honored by your choice? Or will you embrace your new path? Each morning you choose to move forward or to simply give up.
1393. Enjoy the simple things in life. The reddening of the autumn leaves. The warmth you feel around you with them covering the ground you walk on, almost like a blanket enveloping you before the first frost creeps up. The first snow. Pristine, pure seas of white, glistening off the warm rays of the sun. Mornings with dew. The sun peeking out from the clouds. Wet, rainy days with puddles to jump in. Sunny, warm days. The kind you can just lay on the grass in and watch the clouds drift. Pick out the shapes... savoring the feeling of the chilling water on your face. There's a lot more to life than your problems. Just look around you and take in what a beautiful world we live in.
1394. Most of our lives are a series of images, and they pass us by like towns on a highway. But sometimes a moment stuns us as it happens and we know that this instant is more than a fleeting image. We know that this moment, every part of it, will live on forever.
1395. You're cold, but you're beautiful. You're a mess, but I like it that way. If you're always looking for reasons not to be with someone, then you find them. But at some point you just have to let go, and give your heart what it deserves.
1396. Never let success get to your head and never let failure get to your heart.
1397. Life is the ability to feel so happy, you think your insides are going to explode. It's being so upset or disappointed, you feel as if your stomach just dropped ten feet out of place. It's running so hard, you can barely breathe. It's the feeling of panic when you know you've been caught doing something wrong. It's having that sudden rush before you kiss someone you care about. It's opening your eyes and feeling them sting because you spent the whole night crying. It's letting people go because new ones come in, and all the while realizing that life doesn't have a purpose unless you let it.
1398. There are so many quotes out there that tell you what to do and pointing out what should & shouldn't be. But, just because someone says that, doesn't mean you should do whatever it says. It's your choice whether you should or shouldn't follow what the quote says. It can be inspiration, but if you don't agree, it's nothing. <-- I agree. I post these quotes in hope that they help you in life the way they helped me, but if you don't agree with them you don't have to follow them.
1399. Keep your heart open, and love will always find it's way in.
1400. You just never knew. Forever was so many different things. It was always changing, it was what everything was really about. It was twenty minutes, or a hundred years, or just this instant, or any instant I wished would last and last. But there was only one truth about forever that really mattered, and that was this: it was happening.
1401. Everyone had a forever, but given a choice, this would be mine. The one that began in this moment, leaving me astounded, amazed, and most of all, alive.
1402. It's just one of those things, you know, that just happen. You don't think or plan. You just do it.
1403. There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.
1404. It was like that part of the roller coaster where the click-clack-click stops as you reach the top of the hill, and you know for sure that the uphill part is finally behind you, and any minute you'll begin that wild rush to the end.
1405. Events conspired to bring you back to where you'd been. It was what you did then that made all the difference : it was all about potential.
1406. Anyone can hide. Facing up to things, working through them, that's what makes you strong.
1407. <-- that's from postsecret.com Grieving doesn't make you imperfect, it makes you human. We all deal with things differently.
1408. And when you're feeling lonely, look up at the moon. Somewhere, someone is staring at the same moon, feeling lonely too.
1409. I just think that some things are meant to be broken. Imperfect, chaotic. It's the universe's way of providing contrast, you know? There have to be a few holes in the road. It's how life is.
1410. "She's beautiful," you say. How do you know? I think she's ugly. Beautiful is not fake. My beautiful doesn't come in a make-up case. I don't define gorgeous as a painted-on face. Refined isn't about the hollywood drag you smoked last night. My thoughts on "best friends" don't come from things that go right. My friendships aren't purchased, they're earned by trust. My sex appeal doesn't require a condom or lust. Charming isn't credit cards ot the size of my bust. My thoughtfulness isn't bought or wrapped up in a bow. Security shouldn't come from arms you don't know. My fun isn't bottled; a good time isn't drunk. My love is unaltered, despite broken hearts. So, next time you see her done up and rehearsed... She's really not beautiful. Sit back; think first.
1411. When they knock you down, you not only have to get up, but you have to make it clear that you won't be knocked down a second time.
1412. People, wake up and look around you. Stop and smell the roses before their vines grow up and strangle the life from you. There is no order, there is no peace. The world we live in is far from perfect. We pretend that everything is in black and white, that there are no gray areas. We build walls between the truth and ourselves because we're afraid of what it might tell us, and we know, somewhere deep down inside us, that what the truth has to say is not what we want to hear. We live our entire lives in a little box where we tell ourselves we're happy, while wars are fought and people suffer and die and our society destroys itself. We are born into values that tell us if we go to school and get a fancy degree and a high-paying job, then we'll be happy, and we spend our entire lives pursuing these things that really don't matter. Do you see? When we all die, it doesn't matter how much we earned or what job we had. We all go back to zero. There are other ways to live than the ones people tell you. Let go of everything that does not matter. We are all individual beings, we are not part of something bigger, and only we can decide our fates.
1413. What you say and how you look does not define who you are because some of the most beautiful people do some of the ugliest things. You owe it to the people who hate you, who disrespect you and who put you down because they are the ones who have made you who you are today. For keeping your head up and not breaking down when they wanted you to.
1414. When you figure out that every sixty seconds you spend unhappy is a minute of happiness you'll never get back, you start to realize the greater things in life instead of what doesn't really matter or even who doesn't really matter because you learn who's worth that sixty seconds of pure happiness, and who you shouldn't waste it on.
1415. When you look at a person, any person, remember that everyone has a story. Everyone has gone through something that has changed them.
1416. Don't wait for the perfect moment, take a moment and make it perfect.
1417. Smile a little more as life goes by with love in your eyes. Just give it a try.
1418. "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, “I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.” You must do the thing you think you cannot do." --Eleanor Roosevelt
1419. Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway. --Mary Kay Ash
1420. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They keep you fenced in. Life is messy, and that's how we are made. So you can waste your life drawing lines, or you can live your life crossing them.
1421. Don't expect someone to read your mind, and don't play games with heads or hearts. Don't tell half truths and expect trust when the full truth comes out. Half truths are no better then lies. Don't be cold to someone you care about, indifference hurts more then angry words.
1422. I've seen rainbows without the rain, and I've felt the ground shake as I've smiled. I've witnessed light shine from darkness, so I've concluded that true love must be out there waiting for everyone.
1423. Things turn out best for the people who make the best out of the way things turn out.
1424. I usually don't like thinking about the future. I mean, let's face it, you can't predict what's going to happen. But sometimes, the thing you didn't expect is what you really wanted after all. Maybe the best thing to do is just stop trying to figure out where you're going, and enjoy where you're at.
1425. It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not.
1426. Knowing is better than wondering, waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure beats the hell out of never trying.
1427. <-- I love Johnny Depp but the ending of that movie made me mad :/ The sooner you know who you are and what you want, the less things you'll let upset you.

1351. Look between the lines and read between the words. The most important things are left
unsaid and unheard.
1352. Just a moment in this lifetime, just a tragedy ahead. Not knowing where each turn will lead, within seconds we might be dead. Live each day to the fullest and do not stop to wonder why. Do everything your heart desires. In dreams reach for the sky. Surprises at every stop sign. With its share of wrong ways and dead-ends. Statistics dont help you with your future, they only tell you where you've been. With so many people amoung us, there are no certainties. And all it takes it just one person to reroute history. Dont waste one single moment, how very precious they are. What seems a long way off, is really not that far.
1353. The difference between holding on to a hurt or releasing it with forgivness is like the difference between laying your head down at night on a pillow filled with thorns or a pillow filled with rose petals. --Loren Fisher
1354. <-- I stole that from Jonathan's myspace :* The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.
1355. It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change. --Charles Darwin
1356. The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself. --Benjamin Franklin
1357. Even if happiness forgets you a little bit, never completely forget about it.
1358. The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up. --Mark Twain
1359. Those who can laugh without cause have either found the true meaning of happiness or have gone stark raving mad. --Norm Papernick
1360. The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance; the wise grows it under his feet.
1361. Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open. --John Barrymore
1362. People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost.
1363. Often people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want. --Margaret Young
1364. Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. --Nathaniel Hawthorne
1365. Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. --Abraham Lincoln
1366. We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.
1367. Wherever you go, go with all your heart.
1368. Let the world know you as you are, not as you think you should be, because sooner or later, if you are posing, you will forget the pose, and then where are you? --Fanny Brice
1369. Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
1370. Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
1371. To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
1372. If you wait to do everything until you're sure it's right, you'll probably never do much of anything. --Win Borden
1373. Experience is the name every one gives to their mistakes.
1374. The difference between school and life? In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson. --Tom Bodett
1375. In love, it is better to know and be disappointed, than to not know and always wonder.
1376. This is my wish for you. To have comfort on difficult days, and smiles when sadness intrudes. Rainbows to follow the clouds, and laughter to kiss your lips. Sunsets to warm your heart, and hugs when spirits sag. Beauty for your eyes to see, and friendships to brighten your being. Faith so that you can believe, and confidence for when you doubt. Courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, and love to complete your life.
1377. The doors we open and close each day decide the lives we live. --Flora Whittemore
1378. Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life. Think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, and that is the way great spiritual giants are produced.
1379. Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see Life with a clearer view again.
1380. Never waste a minute of your precious life by squandering it thinking about people you don't like.
1381. Our attitude toward life determines life's attitude towards us. --John N. Mitchell
1382. To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. --Ralph Waldo Emerson
1383. How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world. --Anne Frank

| So in my last post, I gave an opinion on a quote I used about how we see what we look for. So when I got dressed this morning and looked in the mirror, at first I saw my hips and my chubby stomach but then I looked up and saw my eyes. Not only is the sweatshirt I'm wearing bringing out the color of my eyes, but they seem to sparkle! Sure I have big hips and a chubby stomach, but my eyes just shine so bright for some reason.
It is true. What you look for when you look at yourself does change your perception. When I looked at things that I knew I didn't have great confidence in, I felt insecure all over. But when I found something I knew I loved, everything just seemed to be different :]
So next time you take a look in the mirror and start seeing "negatives" just remember, if you look for something positive, you start to see a lot more positives and a lot less negatives. [= | | |
